Practice Procedures

Please note that if you have any new cough, fever, shortness of breath, change in taste or smell, please book yourself in for a covid test at your local testing centre. You can phone the GP for advice. If you feel in any respiratory distress please dial 999 for an ambulance.

If you are the main carer for a loved one, you can contact the practice and be coded as such in your medical records. Please phone the surgery line and inform them if you are someone's main unpaid carer.

The practice is open its normal working hours

Although the door is locked you can ring the bell and a member of staff will come and help you.

We are trying to see as many patients as is safely possible in a day.

A big thank you to all our patients for their understanding during these difficult times

At this time when General Practice is coming under a lot of attack on social media, Crossgates Medical Practice would like to extend a big thank you to all of our patients who have shown such tremendous understanding and support over the last 18 months.

We have been working tirelessly, with some members working a 45 - 50 hour week to help cover staff who are off ill or isolating. While these pressures have been difficult we are so grateful to all of our Patients who have shown understanding and concern. A Big thank you from us. It's appreciated.
